Human civilization was built upon the exchange of labor. We work more than sufficient to exchange for extra labor that we couldn’t generate. We are the gears that keep the machine of city running.

As mannequins, it’s the job requirement to take off our own personalities to be a neutral rack. 

It’s better for the customers to focus on the products without being distracted by our unique characters.

It’s better for us to withdraw ourselves from the duties to remind us of the transactional nature of the relationship between us and society.

This is the best way to keep the civilization running, by being a “selfless” gear.
